New Zelda Game for 3DS hinted.

More like announced than anything else.

In a recent interview, Aonuma stated that Nintendo has already started work on a new Zelda 3DS title but it won't be a sequel of any kind.

“We are already preparing a new game, a game in the series for the Nintendo 3DS, but don’t think that it is a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS,” Aonuma explained during an interview with MyGames. “We are talking about a new game, but it takes much of what has been done on previous consoles.”

Aonuma also stated that he has been asked a lot if Nintendo will bring Majora's mask to the 3DS seeing as how Ocarina of Time was a huge success for the company. I myself wouldn't mind it as Majora's mask is one of my favorite Zelda games. But sadly that is not the case.

“It’s something I’m asked about often and I assure you that it is something I’ve spoken to Miyamoto about,” Aonuma stated. “But recently we released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D as a remake. We are considering the idea, but it didn’t seem right to launch a remake one after another, so the next Zelda game on 3DS will be original.”

While I definitely wouldn't mind a new Zelda game I would really like to see a Majoras Mask remake or why note A link to the past 3D remake? Anyhow I can't wait to see what Nintendo has up their sleeves for this upcoming adventure on the 3DS
