Netflix instant stream app for PS3 coming monday.

And the features are plenty.

It's been confirmed for some time now that Netflix will come to PS3 via an App and will no longer need the disc to start up the program and on Monday gamers will get their wish because putting a disc into the PS3 is just too much work for many out there.

The App will be completely different compared to what the disc based app and the Xbox 360 app has to offer. For one Netflix will now support video output of 1080i with Dolby Digital surround sound 5.1. Another feature is the search engine which has been simplified by using the PS3 controller configuration now instead of using the Square button to exit the App, which has happened to me many times by accident, the Square will do what it was meant to do and that is delete the letter that you put incorrectly.

It seems that the experience of Netflix is a lot better than the Xbox 360 and for $12 a month with Blu-Ray movie delivery it seems well worth the price than paying $70 to $100 for TV service. The new netflix App will be available this Monday and hopefully the servers can handle the load of all the PS3 Netflix users without crashing.
