Gran Turismo 5 was delayed again missing it's November 2nd deadline and pushed into the holiday season. The reason for this was so that Polyphony Digital can have more time to polish the game and server a better experience to the end-user. While Polyphony has had over 4 to 5 years developing Gran Turismo 5 an inside source close to Sony says: "that isn't the case".
The reason why Gran Turismo 5 was delayed was because of the new PSJB tool that is available for PS3 consoles which allows piracy on the system. Medal of Honor being the first game to force users to update the console rendering any Jail Broken devices useless. Of course not everyone will play Medal of Honor and patching games to work with the console is something within reach for hackers.
As to whether it is true or not about the delay is left up in the air. But if you're hoping to play GT5 this November keep dreaming.
