PSVita Memory Cards price revealed

Get ready to pay a premium.

When it comes to Sony, they will try to profit from any means possible.  This means that they most of time time they come out with their own proprietary products such as the Memory Stick Pro Duo and the Pro Duo micro and in today the Vita Memory cards which only works on the vita of course. Other devices in the market always stick to a universal format which is great but getting someone a gift from Sony is a bit tricky.

So the Vita memory cards have been released and are priced accordingly:$30 for 4GB, $45 for 8GB, $70 for 16GB, and $120 for 32GB. It's always good to keep in mind that those are the SRP but sometimes in order for a company to move inventory they will price them at a much lower price. Keep in mind that these only work for the Vita and no other device out there as of yet. Who knows maybe we'll see some in the future.

It's always good to remember though that the Vita does come with 16GB of internal memory, So unless you do a lot of movie watching and music listening on your Vita, you'll be OK.
