Vudu will start streaming 3D Movies Next Week.

A Great Alternative for those who don't want to pay $40 for a 3D Blu-Ray movie.

Vudu is an online service which offers rentals and sales of movies from it's database. You do not own the physical copy of the movie but the digital copy. They have a variety of movies and different qualities up to 1080P.

It's a great service, I actually checked out Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and while I did have a free voucher I wished I would have used it on a different movie as Scott Pilgrim vs The World sucked in my opinion but that's besides the point.

With that said Vudu will be offering 3D content next week.

"We are proud to be a leader in the delivery of 3D movies," said Edward Lichty, General Manager of VUDU. "Our launch of 3D today is another example of our commitment to deliver the best home entertainment experience available anywhere. There is no better, easier way to get 3D movies at home than through the VUDU Service."

In order to get Vudu you must have a Vudu capable device such as an HDTV or for 3D content an 3DHDTV or a Blu-Ray Player with said services.
