PS3 Custom Firmware Released to Hackers

It seems that the PS3 will soon have a PSP type following in the hacking scene.

For years the PSP has been one of the most vulnerable consoles on the market and with every update Sony tries to patch up the security holes but for those who already have a hacked PSP, can still play the latest games with just a few simple patches with Custom Firmware.

The PS3 also has it's own version of the Custom Firmware which has been released into the hacking scene. The days of the PS3JB may be over as the FW can easily be installed via USB and opens the world to Sony's worst nightmare and is said to even work on the latest 3.55 FW.

Besides updates there's really nothing for Sony to do once the FW is found on PS3's.
