PS3 Jailbreak legal in Spain.

Looks like Sony has lost the battle on this one.

A judge in Barcelona has stated that he does not see a problem with people Jailbreaking Sony's PS3 but it's also legal to advertise and sell any Jailbreaking device which Sony has tried so hard in many countries to ban because of piracy.

Besides losing the battle Sony must also pay all those legal fees for all the stores Sony has taken to court which is also a double whammy for the corporation. Sony does have 2 days to repeal the decision and chances are they will be taken that road but what if a different judge agrees with the first?

I do believe piracy is bad and people should not practice it but I do believe since you purchased your console you can do whatever you want with it. If you want to smash your console to pieces to throw it in the water to use it as a computer heck even a super computer as some companies are doing that is all up to the consumer since they paid for the product.
