NBA Elite officially cancelled

Looks like 2K11 is the only game for this years NBA season.

In what must have cost EA millions of dollars, NBA Elite 11 has been officially canceled and has switched Studios. The previous studio working on NBA Elite was EA Canada which was rebuilding the game with a new game engine however the new game controls were not ready and the game was delayed.

The new studio working on NBA Elite is EA Tiburon which is located in Orlando, FL. In trying to cut costs to game development, Most game companies outsource their studios to Canada where it's cheaper to develop however when a studio screws up a project things can turn for the worse.

This makes NBA 2K11 the only basketball game out there and people waiting for Elite will surely pick up NBA 2K11. However looking at the long run fans of EA's NBA might make the jump to 2K for future NBA titles which means more loses for EA.
