A new patch will fix the problems with CoD Back Ops.
If you have a PS3 version of CoD Black Ops and have been experiencing: game lag, spawning in places that are incorrect, not being able to hear their enemies’ foot steps and slow connections. There have been complaints of kill counts, assists and deaths being off then you are not crazy. You are just a victim of bad game development which is normally found in Activision games.
A new patch will be available in the coming days that will fix all those issues for PS3 users. In the mean time why not play through story mode for the first time since you got the game to keep you occupied until the patch arrives.
