Xbox Live Price Change.

Soon you will be paying more for gaming online on Xbox 360.

It seems as the Microsoft Execs need a new Ferrari cause apparently 20 isn't enough. It seems that's what most companies are focusing on today; How to spend less and make more. At least that's what Activisions mission statement is since Robert A. Kotick took over and decided to milk every single franchise until there is no life to it.

Anywho instead of Microsoft feeling bad for how this economy is going and gamers not spending any money because they either lost their jobs or got their hours cut, they raise the price for their Xbox Live Service.

If you're an Xbox Live customer then you probably received this email:

Thank you for being a valued member of Xbox LIVE. We want to let you know about an upcoming price increase for Xbox LIVE Gold subscriptions. The new price for Gold membership goes into effect on November 1, 2010. The new prices are as follows:

                                        Old Price New Price

 1-Month Gold Subscription $7.99        $9.99

 3-Month Gold Subscription $19.99     $24.99

 12-Month Gold Subscription $49.99    $59.99

With an Xbox LIVE Gold membership, you can play blockbuster games such as Halo: Reach with your friends online, you can also stream movies from Netflix* and music from Last.fm right to your TV. You can even connect with friends near and far on Facebook® and Twitter™. Gold members also enjoy exclusive discounts and early access to game demos. And, this holiday, Xbox LIVE is adding new Gold features, including ESPN and Video Kinect, with Hulu Plus coming on Xbox Live in 2011.

Why are they raising the price of their Xbox Live Service now. Halo: Reach. They know that people will still pay to play said game and they're hoping it doesn't backfire by people not purchasing new subscriptions. Most people this its only an extra $10 a month who cares. Well when you add it up to roughly around 23 million users an extra $10 a month doesn't seem so small anymore does it.
