It appears twitter is now the go to place for gaming news for people who want to hear it first hand. But any who, Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi this week said via Twitter that GT5 requires only 250MB of hard drive space on your PS3 but you may also have the option to install a 10GB file for an even better gameplay experience.
Not all but a lot of developers do this for their titles so the game could load faster. This isn't a bad thing unless you do not know how to upgrade your Hard Drive on your PS3 which is very easy. If you are planning on swapping hard drives on your PS3 I recommend you purchase an External 2.5 inch Hard Drive as you can use the external case to put your old 60GB Hard Drive in it and use it of course as an external drive. It should only cost you about $5 extra probably less. I'm not advertising the things just putting it out there that your old 60GB hard drive doesn't have to be useless when you swap it out.
