In it's ongoing effort to make gamers ditch their dates this weekend, Microsoft has decided to give Xbox Live for free from 02/14 through 02/16. .

Everything that is usually reserved for Gold Members (which is almost everything) will be available to non gold members in the US and Canada. Of course you must have an Xbox Silver Account in order to get the promotion. The first thing to do of course is to download all the free games as possible that they may have available.
Sadly this offer isn't extended to those who have an Xbox One. Sorry Xbox One Owners, I guess Microsoft just wants to be friends.
