iPhone 4 Design Flaw and Steve Jobs Response.

The iPhone 4 was released yesterday and while walking through the mall and wanting to go into the Apple store, I wasn't allowed to go inside to see the iPad because only people who are purchasing the iPhone 4 are being let in. All this hype and hoopla over a phone seems ridiculous. Just like the iPad having issues connecting to certain WiFi connections the iPhone has issues connecting to the AT&T network if the user holds it a certain way.

The antenna on the iPhone 4 is the outer rim so when consumers hold it a certain way that blocks the antenna the reception will drop to almost no service. Apple CEO Steve Job's respond to that matter  "Don't Hold it that way".

What, you're telling us how to hold our phone now because your company screwed up in the proceed. Of course people are following suit. This is what a reporter from Yahoo said when told to hold the phone a certain way by Steve Jobs: "I'm having no problem re-creating the iPhone 4's reception woes. Just now, I dialed the Moviefone number while holding the iPhone in my fingertips: perfect reception, with five bars, all loud and clear."

I hold the phone the way I want to hold it, not the way I'm told to hold it. But of course if this is my answer everyone who loves Apple will just say "Well don't buy an iPhone then". It's ridiculous how Apple is F---ing everyone over and everyone is just taking it.

"Gripping any phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases."

I wonder if Steve Job's even uses this version of the iPhone. It would be interesting if he's holding on to his 3GS until the iPhone 5G comes to the market because he knows the 4G is pure garbage. It will be even more interesting if he already has the 5G.

This is what the Yahoo reporter said in his final comments. "it's not the phone's fault. We're just using it wrong. Silly us." Yes Silly you and every other iPhone fanboy out there who jumped ship to the iPhone 4G, But for the rest of were not silly. We know when a phone should work, the way it should work. I Just hope that Apple fixes these problems with a new antenna or something because this isn't something that can be fixed on an update.
