Kalypso to Bring "Hard Reset: Extended Edition" to North American Retail in 2012

Ridgewood, NJ, December 13, 2011 - Kalypso Media USA, Inc. today announced a publishing deal with developer Flying Wild Hog to release an expanded and exclusive retail edition of their cyberpunk First-Person Shooter, Hard Reset, to North American retail in March 2012.  Hard Reset: Extended Edition for Windows PC will drop players into a dark dystopian cyberpunk world where they’ll enjoy frantic FPS styled gameplay combined with upgradable weapons, insane boss fights, physics-based combat and an intense new storyline.

Features of Hard Reset: Extended Edition include –
  • A fast-paced, “old school” styled FPSExperience-based weapons upgrade system
  •  Five new levels (adding approximate two hours of gameplay to the original game)
  • Four new enemies, one new boss character
  • Updated graphics engine
  • Additional gameplay elements
  • New back-story
  • Two new levels for survival mode

In the only remaining human city of Bezoar, Major Fletcher, an Army Combat Veteran, is dragged into a conflict between two of mankind's greatest enemies. He is to discover that nothing is what it seems to be. Hard Reset: Extended Edition is an action-packed, single-player shooter for Windows PC. With over-the-top destruction, loads of enemies, incredible  weapon variety and a beautifully realized cyberpunk setting, Hard Reset: Extended Edition takes classic FPS gaming and cranks it up to all new levels.

My Opinion: From the screenshots, this looks like it's shaping up to be a great FPS game. It kind of reminds me of the Conduit and I do hope it's as entertaining. I can't wait to check this one out.
