NIS-America announces a new anime

KIMI NI TODOKE -FROM ME TO YOU-RELEASES IN NORTH AMERICA IN OCTOBER!

Santa Ana, CA (July 1, 2011) –NIS America proudly announced today that the high school romance kiminitodoke‐From Me to You‐Volume 1 Premium Editionwill be available in North America this fall. In kiminitodoke, you will experience the first crush and friendships a high school girl experiences in 12 episodes on 2 DVDs. The premium edition comes in a highly collectible sturdy slip‐case with the hardcoverart book, My Memories, flashing back through the roller‐coaster of emotions felt by the main character, Sawako Kuronuma.

About kiminitodoke‐From Me to You‐:
Sawako Kuronumahas had a difficult time fitting in. Some say it’s her hair, others say it’s her hushed manner of speaking, while still others claim it is due to her name’s similarity to Sadako, a character from a popular Japanese horror series. On her first day of high school, Sawako meets the one boy who treats her like a normal girl—ShotaKazehaya. Through his selfless aid, Sawako slowly learns to come out of her shell and even begins to make friends for the first time in her life. However, with a new social life come social pressures. Rumors begin to circulate about her, her friends, and even the kindhearted Kazehaya. As she grows into her new identity, Sawako must learn to deal with such pressures as well as start to understand the unfamiliar feelings inside of her, especially in regards to the boy who made her new start possible.

About the bonuses—art book and bonus tracks:
kiminitodoke‐From Me to You‐Volume 1 Premium Edition comes with a hardcover art book (full color, 28 pages), featuring character information and Sawako’s most cherished memories. Get inside her head and experience the story of Volume 1 through Sawako’s memories!
The bonus track includes clean Opening/Ending themes.

I hope that NISA gives us a DVD and Blu-Ray copy of the kiminitodoke as they did with Arakawa and Katanagatary which included a blu-ray and a DVD copy. Arakawa and Katanagary are also 2 anime titles from NISA which are now available. Review coming later this week.
