Does it matter if it's more powerful than PS3?
When games are being created they are first made for the Xbox 360 and then ported to the PS3. This causes a lot of issues for the PS3 version because both versions are being worked on at the same time and practically use the same art and game engine. It has been this way since 2005 and it will continue to be this way in the future.
So what does it matter if the Wii is more powerful than the PS3? Unless it's an exclusive not much. But for your informational purposes the Wii is more powerful than the PS3 according to a few developers.
Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia commented today, "Some of the developers we spoke to indicated to us that the console will have 50% more processing power compared to the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. This is yet to be confirmed by Nintendo."
Nintendo used PS3 and Xbox 360 footage on their video presentation but didn't show much in terms of processing power. But of course if Call of Duty will look the same across all 3 platforms then it won't really matter if it's more powerful than the PS3.
