Nintendo used PS3/Xbox 360 footage for their Wii U Console.

Nintendo says the Wii U should offer the same experience.

Nintendo showed off its newest console the Wii U which features a tablet like controller to play games on. Developers praised the new controller and even showed off some footage for the new console which Reggie said the console runs on 1080P so it shouldn't have no problem handling the horsepower developers throw at it.

"We're talking a year away from when the system's going to launch," Fils-Aime told GameTrailers.com. "The system's going to be 1080p. You're going to see games that take full advantage of a system that has the latest technology and can push out some incredible graphics."

Some of the footage used from other consoles is Assassins Creed, Ghost Recon Online, and Madden football which will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 later on this year.
