Microsoft replacing Xbox 360 consoles with disc reading issues.

The new firmware affects everyone but for those who are having problems with the new update can get a free replacement.

Microsoft will be releasing a new firmware for its Xbox 360 consoles that will allow an extra GB of storage to developers to add more content or have better textures or graphics when playing. However some Xbox 360 consoles will not take the new firmware lighty and it could cause issues reading game discs.

Microsoft has agreed to replace these consoles for a new one and a free year of Xbox Live to those who are having this issue. Microsoft will also provide a free shipping label to ship your console to them. Of course this issue is for only the consoles that Microsoft has identified as defective via an email and you must only ship that specific Xbox 360 which means that you cannot send your little brothers Xbox 360 just because you are too attached to yours but still want to get  a better 360 because of it.
