NBA 2K11 going 3D

2K Games has announced that NBA 2K11 will be going 3D starting November 16 with an in game update that is only available on the disc when the game ships but it will only be exclusive to Best Buy. Other owners of the game will have to wait until January for an over the air internet update.

Of course a compatible TV with glasses is required to view the 3D content. While the 3D feature is nice it's not worth anything jumping over. Purchasing a new 3D TV with 3D glasses to go along with it can be a huge investment that will probably cost less in a few months.
