If you still haven't updated your console, there is no need to.
Sony released their new software update 3.42 which only includes added security. Which means that if you update your plans of purchasing the new psjb are now just thoughts in your mind.
The update didn't really do anything for me except crash my console many times while trying to watch Netflix. I don't know if this was intentional or if it's just my console that was doing this. I was definitely mad because I wasn't able to watch Netflix for the rest of the night.
My console is working fine now after 24 hours but I wished I wouldn't have upgraded to save myself the headaches. Like stated before there is really nothing on the new FW to update. Besides Sony watching their backs this doesn't really benefit the consumer.
