Apple to Sell 27 inch LED Display.

Get ready to bust a nut trying to purchase this thing.

So it's no secret that Apple fanboys will buy anything Apple comes out these days regardless of how crappy it is. Case and point. iPhone 4 with it's connection problems, Apple iPad with it's WiFi problems etc etc.

Apple is now releasing a new 27 inch LED display for a nut busting $1000. Add tax and the stupid California Recycling fee and you're walking out paying an estimate of $1160. Don't get me wrong though the specs on this display are beautiful. The resolution is at 2560x1440 with built in speakers, camera and USB ports and of course it has the familiar Apple aluminum finish and an end-to-end black bezel around the screen.

Besides the resolution there is really nothing Apple is doing that hasn't already been done by other companies. Not to mention games isn't really what Apple is known for so people wouldn't really use the full 2560x1440 display. All pictures that are below that will display at their regular resolution and really unless you're a photography major no one can really tell the difference past 1920x1080. Heck most people can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p.

But it doesn't matter if Apple fanboys know what anything is. Just because it's Apple they'll buy it. Of course you can find yourself a 27' Display for around $349 or you can get yourself an LED TV which now most HDTV's have PC support for around $600.
