Only 3 months after it's release, APB will be shitting down.
APB is an MMO which has one of the weirdest subscription base. As a member you will have to pay by the hour or you can play unlimited amount for 30 days for a flat fee. The game which costs $50 only comes with 50 hours of game time which is no more than 10 days if you play for 5 hours. This could have probably lead to it's early demise because no one want's to pay an hour fee just for playing a game.
"I truly wish we had the chance to continue to craft APB into the vision we had for it," wrote Mr Jones on APB's official forums.
"It has been a long & difficult journey but ultimately rewarding to have had the chance to try something bold and different.
"I am so sorry it had to end so quickly but hopefully the good memories will stay with us all for a long time."
For those of you planning to purchase the game or have just purchase it, take it back to where you purchased it as the servers will also be shutting down making this game unplayable. It is unknown whether or not someone out there will run private servers like the ones from counter strike but then again this ain't no counter strike.
