More limited editions that will be worthless in the future..
I love getting Limited Editions but when they are worth it and truly limited edition. But for some reason Big Companies like Microsoft and Activision bring out Limited Editions for a premium price and too many copies are available only to be on sale a few months later for Half of what it's normally worth.
That is the deal with Bioshock 2 whose limited Edition was worth $99 when it came out and now I can still see it at Target for $80. Halo 3 Legendary was $130 and 4 months down the line it was down to only $70.
Now to follow up the so called limited releases, Activision trying to squeeze every gaming dollar out of you for their profit is releasing a Harden and Prestige Version of Black Ops. The Harden version comes with a limited edition Black Ops Collector’s Medal with display case, four extra playable co-op maps, exclusive Black Ops Xbox LIVE avatar outfit, premium, special-edition SteelBook case, and the Call of Duty: Black Ops game for $80 and the Prestige edition comes with the full Hardened Edition, four extra playable co-op maps, RC-XD Video Surveillance Vehicle, and RC-XD Transmitter with 2″ backlit TFT 220 x176 color screen to receive video from car for $150.
I don't not like Limited Editions, I just wish they were truly Limited Editions.
