Hulu First headed to PS3.

The Hulu service will be first available on the PS3 before anything else.

Hulu just announced the products it will first be available in. The PS3 is first in line with Hulu launching in just a few weeks. By the end of the year it will launch on Compatible TV's and Blu-Ray players and Finally the Xbox 360 will launch sometime in 2011 while Apple products were not even mentioned.

The Hulu service called Hulu Plus will run at $10 a month with unlimited streams. Some reports are saying that in order to access the Hulu Plus service users must have the Playstation Plus service similar to that of Xbox Live Gold is required for Netflix.

This is a move which will definitely not help Hulu with their service. Netflix is also on PS3 and only cost $9 a month (hey $1 can buy you a double cheeseburger at McDonalds) and can be viewed with any service of the PSN. I just hope they don't go and change that. On top of that Netflix offers more content such as Movies and Documentaries in all forms as well as DVD's in the mail and Blu-Ray's.

Another thing that separates both service its adds. If I'm paying for something I definitely don't want to view adds in the middle of the show or wait 30 seconds for my show to start. Yes Hulu has decided to keep the adds which will play at the beginning or during whatever it is your watching. Netflix doesn't have that.

I am really curious to see how the Hulu Plus service will survive or if it will have any subscribers at all. I guess as we'll find out in a few weeks.
